| Below Grade Waterproofing |
| Below grade masonry can be effectively waterproofed using the BarrierGuard System. This system provides a low cost and permanent mechanical seal against water ingress from hydrostatic pressure. Care should be taken to include waterproofing over the footing to assure wall and footing sealing. The BarrierGuard System should cover the underground surface and several inches above grade. BarrierGuard System should be applied from the outside. However, in some cases inside waterproofing is acceptable. |

| Clear Masonry |
| Unpainted masonry will allow water ingress throughout its surface. Sealing unpainted masonry can be achieved by applying ClearGuard Plus. ClearGuard Plus is a state-of-the-art water and oil repellant that reduces the surface tension preventing water to stick-and ClearGuard Plus dries clear and does not leave a sheen. |

Curbs, Pitch Pockets, Roof Drains and Scuppers |
These leak points require special attention to detail in flashing. These
critical leak points must be well flashed with the full PremiumCoat System.
Note: Since many of these areas are heavy water collection points it is advised the
BarrierGuard System be applied over the PremiumCoat
System.
BarrierGuard will provide extra protection not only in
water ponding conditions but also provide protection for water erosion
areas. Please contact technical support for specific
information. |

| Decks |
| Decks are roofs that you walk on and must be waterproofed with the complete PremiumCoat System.
Special attention must be given to deck and wall junctions with Cant Strips. All posts, railings and walls
must be treated. For increased protection, TrafficCoat abrasion resistant coating may be applied
over the PremiumCoat System. |

|
| Flat Roofs |
| The entire field of flat roof can potentially leak and must be sealed using
the complete PremiumCoat System. Care must be taken to prepare the
surface by power washing and making any necessary substrate repairs
before applying the PremiumCoat System. Ponding water conditions must be
corrected at this time. And an attention to detail of all flashings and
parapet walls is a must. |

| Fountains |
| Fountains, fish ponds, planters, and retaining walls and other
masonry structures that require waterproofing can be treated by the BarrierGuard

waterproof but Hydro-Stop's BarrierGuard System works quite well. |

| Gutters |
| Gutters can be
treated with the PremiumCoat System but the gutter must be pitched
correctly. After proper preparation, including pressure washing and rust
proofing using StableRust Primer, the PremiumCoat System is applied. |

| Metal Roofs |
Commercial metal roofs can be sealed by applying the PremiumCoat System over all leak points of the roof.
Laps, seams, penetrations, skylights, screw heads and parapets must be sealed. Once the leak points have been properly flashed, the entire roof field is coated with two coats of FinishCoat. Proper preparation and priming of rusted areas with StableRust Primer is most important.
Old historic standing seam roofs or commercial roofs in very bad condition should
receive the full PremiumCoat System. Proper preparation and priming of rusted areas with StableRust Primer is most important. |

roof. It also enters from the top of the coping. The parapet wall can be
completely sealed with the |

| Penetrations |
| Penetrations include any object that protrudes through the roof field. These are leak points and must be well sealed with the PremiumCoat System. Care should be taken to flash at least 6" up the penetrations and 6" down the penetrations. Please contact |
